I switched from Verizon to Google Fi for cost reason. After switch I found my T-mobile signal is around -125 dBm in my office. This was good enough for my Pixel but way too low for the SG S7. SG has no WiFi calling when used with Google Fi. NXT CELL helped. I found a window location showing 1 bar as far away from my office as possible. Signal strength in the office went up to around -95 dBm or 6-7 number on the receiving unit and 2 bars on the SG S7. Not great, but the phone works. Couple of tech-tips: - to find the best signal in the house install Signal Spy location on your phone. Use your phone to measure the signal, not the window unit. You won't have to deal with power cable. - place the receiver unit as far as possible from the window unit. This is counter-intuitive. Don't try to connect two units placed next to each other - it won't work. - be patient when the units connect as indicated on their respective controls. In my case it took close to 30 minutes to establish the link. - after the link is established once, power-cycling one of the units causes relatively short link interruption - a minute or so. I would give it 5 stars if it came with a better manual.Read full review

The booster fixed my lack of tmobile reception in my home office. I placed the cell signal receiver on a window sill in an upstairs bedroom. The other unit is in my 1st floor office about 75 feet away. The tmobile signal varies from 1 to 2 bars on the booster receiver. The office unit varies from 7 to 9 on the display. The placement of the 2 units is much more sensitive than I expected. It took a fair amount of experimentation to find a working combination of placement sites. As it stands now, I still have short periods of bad tmobile connections. However, I have not missed any calls and I can always communicate good enough to recommend a call back from a different location. Generally, my cell phone reports the signal strength shown in the attached picture. This is with a tmobile signal that fluctuates between 1 and 2 bars on the booster cell signal receiver.Read full review

I thought this would do the trick in that I get one bar of 4G LTE at my home. The Cellspot also got one bar as is described as needed in the setup. I set it up as directed an achieved the communication level between the two units and my phone showed an increased signal but, when I tried to use the phone it was useless. The signal kept dropping out and I couldn't even get minimal communication. I stayed in one spot, where I got the best signal on the phone, but could not maintain a usable signal. I tried multiple locations around the house to no avail. This thing is definitely not what is claimed. It's a simple and cheap booster that "might" work under ideal laboratory conditions but, not under normal use. Don't waste your time and money. Pay the price and get one that really works.

Excellent product. I have gone from to barely 1 bar to 4 and/or 5 bars. Of course, one has to own a cell phone with SIM activated to T-Mobile and the booster has to be registered with T-Mobile, also. Quite excellent change.
