Winched out pier without a problem
Purchased this Warn VR EVO 8 winch several weeks ago. It arrived on time and was packaged well. I mounted it on a warn universal mounting bracket and then on to a steel post cemented into the ground. I used it today to winch out my 50 foot pier approximately 105 feet up a hill with about a 45 degree angle. I added a 25 foot cable extension to accomplish this. I estimate the pier weighed between 1,500-2,000 lbs. The pier has 48 inch steel wheels. The winch did the job easily. Power was supplied by a 12v marine battery.Purchased this Warn VR EVO 8 winch several weeks ago. It arrived on time and was packaged well.
