    Venom Winch Guard Cable Stop

    Well made, quality product. Very easy to install, very clean looking, and works perfectly to prevent damage to rollers or plate. Rubberized product that absorbs and prevents over tightening rope or cable putting stress on winch. Also holds hook securely in place. Trust me you won’t be disappointed with this product!!!

    No more bent rack!

    Product was just right for what I needed. The front rack on my atv was bent from the winch hook pulling on it during stowing. This stops that and prevents the hook from swinging around.

    Cable Stop.

    Installs easily and is made of hard but flexible rubber. Prevents the crimp on the cable or the hook from damaging the fairlead. There is a flat side and a tapered side but no information on which way to install it in the instructions. I put the taper side toward the fairlead for two reasons, 1) It centers in the fairlead when the cable is pulled up against it and 2) when reeling back in the taper will tend to slide over objects adn obstructions easier if the taper hits them rather than the flat side.

    Works as it should

    A little difficult to install., but not impossible. Follow the directions and it will get you there. I used Dawn dish soap as the lubricant and gently squeezed the rubber stop with my vice to open the hole for the tow rope and thimble to pass through. I also placed it between some cardboard so the rubber didn’t get marred.
