I bought this for my 2008 B 7, A4 3.2, V6, 6MT S/line sedan
It works as advertised. My B7 is like new and has always had Dealer Service. I never updated the GPS NAV and the Data Base was really showing it’s age but the car and the NAV are still in daily use and AUDI no longer makes the A4 with a V6 or the six speed manual, so I’m not in the market for a new AUDI any time soon. Every time it goes in tor the 10,000 mile service, I get a new model to drive as the 2008 gets its service and driving the new one makes me miss the manual gearbox and the smooth V6. I found these DVD’s (they now have 2 the original North America Data base was just one DVD) apparently the Nav software was also updated. It now offers a little better (more user friendly) programming and it now offers more than just one intermediate stop. All in all, a very worthwhile and ... It works as advertised. We bought the car used (2006 Audi A4) and it came without the Navigation DVD, which renders the in-dash nav system inoperable. Retail is $90, so tried this. Nice packaging. Followed instructions on the store page and had it up and running on the first try. Note that Disk 1 is the software/firmware update disk, and for the U.S. maps you need to insert Disk 2 (and leave it installed in the drive behind the screen). Just Like the OEMs
Ejected the original disk from 2006, inserted disk one of two and allowed the unit to rewrite the firmware. It took a few minutes but loaded without any problems and has been stable ever since. Disk #2 I'd surmise is for Canada and when next I travel there I will use it but for now all my requirements are provided by disck #1. Excellent product.

Works perfectly in my 2006 A3. Don't expect any miracles, it's still a dated system with a cludgy interface, but this DVD set will make it the best it can ever be. Frankly I still instead use my cell phone most of the time, it's quicker and easier.

Worked great for my used 2006 audi a3. The car came with the screen but no navigation. It installs the software and after a few reboots is ready to go. Even though I use google maps to get around, having the is a nice addition. Good value.
