Nismo spoiler
The construction was good. Paint was ok. Only two of the mounting bolts lined up with the factory holes. Need silicone to ensure it will not pull up after a couple of weeks. Over all it looks good when installed.

Nismo Aftermarket Spoiler
The spoiler looks great on my 2017 370Z but the installation process was extremely difficult. I took it to the local Nissan dealer body shop for installation and they were very hesitant to install it. There was no template available for the shop to use to mark the drill pattern and after contacting Ikon Motorsports they made it sound like anyone should be able to install the spoiler. (Even though I asked the guy if he had ever installed one and he said No.) The rear holes that had to be drilled extended back on the hatch so that they are right on top of the sponge seal that keeps water out of your trunk. On top of that, their is a third layer of metal inside the hatch that had to be drilled thru in order to reach the outside so the bolts could be screwed into the spoiler. It ended up ... The spoiler looks great on my 2017 370Z but the installation process was extremely difficult. I took it to the local Nissan dealer body shop for installation and they were very hesitant to install it. There was no template available for the shop to use to mark the drill pattern and after contacting Ikon Motorsports they made it sound like anyone should be able to install the spoiler. On top of that, their is a third layer of metal inside the hatch that had to be drilled thru in order to reach the outside so the bolts could be screwed into the spoiler. It ended up taking over 4 hours to install it. The installer inserted a couple of rubber grommets to cover the holes. Drill holes existed for an OEM spoiler, but seeing as this is a knock-off after market Nismo style spoiler, it isn't made to fit properly. Also be aware that this spoiler is large and your rear view is greatly obstructed by the double layer. It makes it difficult to see vehicles behind you. I like the look, but if I had it to do over again, I would have gotten an OEM spoiler.

I suspect they're deliberately vague re installation requirements as many will require a professional installation which in fairness they do recommend. They're aware that two mounting points require longer screws but don't provide same. Ask to have it sent assembled. Requires a loctite bolt thread product and strong adhesive to keep from coming loose which also isn't mentioned or provided.Installation requires modifications to product and vehicle.
