Quality rubber replacement.
I purchased two of these to have one as a replacement and one as a backup for my Tracker Bass boat. Normal wear and tear on the original. These were slightly thicker than the original, but actually a better quality. A little tough sliding them into the original spacing, but worked out just fine.

Very strong.
It’s a very strong transom saver so I don’t worry about it wearing like aluminum. But my only issue with it is the rubber. I am now on my 3rd replacement within 5 months. Each one has split. I use my boat often, more than most I’d would say in a season. I have a 2021 mercury 90 and the lower unit is different than my previous 2008 engine, so I’m wondering if this is the issue. The engine does not stay center while driving down the road, it always turns to one side. More than likely this is causing the rubber to tear over a short period of time. The first time I noticed the rubber failing the lower end had been rubbing against the securement bolt and chipped my brand new engine. I do not squeeze down the trim too tight on the saver so rule that out. It’s a very strong transom saver so I don’t worry about it wearing like aluminum. But my only issue with it is the rubber.
