Seller Notes: “Repaired Original Doors removed from an early F40 in the UK during the 1990-1994 timeframe. These ... “Repaired Original Doors removed from an early F40 in the UK during the 1990-1994 timeframe. These doors were damaged on a car shortly after delivery and were removed and replaced with later "roll up" window doors and windows. The damage was to the lower sill and underside of each door, with some cracking and delaminating from a shock type of crash. (I believe the car may have had the ramp fall away going on or off the transporter, and the undersides of the doors were cracked. The repairs were done by a Ferrari shop using the original weave cloth and resins and were lightly resprayed in correct Rosso Corsa. the paint matched the rest of the paint on the door and was gently feathered in and polished. Most of the door is in original paint with just touch up around the doors. These doors were from the initial run of 50 sets, with the follow on 50 being optional equipment for the F40 owner who would choose between (roll up windows) or (sliding plexiglass)Interior shots added.”
