Install could be tricky
You are buying this because the old one rotted away. The lock nut on the eyelet is pretty much not going anywhere without work. Your car is also not going anywhere! You can extend out the arm for the best position, but it is still going to be challenging working with jackstands. I suggest using a round dremel drum sander (I have the flex extension) to chew thru the nut. The reinforced cutting wheels could work too. The good part is the stud has flats, so you don't ruin any threads. Once the nut is half eaten away, Mix up some acetone nail polish remover and ATF, spray it down, wire brush the threads, give it a bit of force and try to get it off with locking pliers. Don't use too much force. If it don't budge, eat away more of the nut. Taking the nut off will act as a die/thread repair ... You are buying this because the old one rotted away.
