Almost perfect, serious downrange illumination.
The light pattern is very tight, true spot light. Intensity is somewhat amazing. Unlike LED lights, these have a great deal of focused range rather than the flood like effect that LED's give. No blinding white spot in front of the rig and they will light up animals in the road 300+ yards downrange. Installation is pretty easy. My only gripe? The grooved/ notched vertical adjustment system, fine tuning it is a problem if the light mounting tabs are not absolutely perfectly true. One beam shines a touch higher, now I need to bend that mounting tab on my bumper ever so slightly. Very bright....
The 7 inch HID lights added to the brush guard my Tundra are sooooo bright that the tuck wants to back up a little when powered up. I am on the local volunteer fire Dept and often go on fire calls in the middle of the night with very poor visibility. I installed these lights to help with that problem, they are way too bright to use on the highway. Best light upgrade on the market
I had my eyes on these for a few years, not knowing if they would be worth it or not I wasn't too eager to buy them. Well I'm happy I did. Even with all the market being LED's they don't come close to how these work. They throw light a good 300 ish yards in a true spot beam, these guys are by far better than any LED bar on the market.
