I bought this to install in my 90 year old Dad's car to help him when backing up in parking lots. It does essentially work, but the picture is a little dark and the wireless camera connection is just ok. It is very important to not have much metal between the the transmitter and receiver or it will not work. Also, other wiring in the car may interfere with it if the transmitter or receiver is mounted too close. I had to play with the positioning of each to get the signal to mostly work. I have seen other reviews where people complain that the wireless connection does not work. I can see this happening due to the positioning or the distance between the units. Some things I like: - The screen is nice and big (7" diag) - The screen does have some control over the picture quality - The camera using the license plate mounting making it easier - The camera tilts some for a better view - The wireless feature is nice (when it works) - There is a wire lead from the screen that turns it on when the car is in reverse - There is a second video input for another video source - The screen has multiple mounting options Some things I don't like: - The picture is a bit too dark - Sometimes, the display comes on when it should not (can still be turned off manually) - The wireless connection is not very strong so positioning is critical - The instruction are not so great I will say that it does the job and is ok for the money. I’m going to be completely honest here. I can’t say I recommend purchasing this item. I will say the camera and monitor are an okay quality. The night vision isn’t the best but passable I guess. But I will say the wireless transmitter and receiver are garbage. I bought this item for my pap for his truck, and it did not come with any kind of installation instructions for one but it wasn’t hard to figure out. But it won’t get a good wireless signal from back of truck to the cab. So he still can’t use it. It might work for a car or suv with both units in the cab. But for a pickup truck don’t waist your time just get a hard wired unit. I may return this if I can’t come up with a way to make it work.

Very quick delivery! Easy to install if you know what you're doing. I connected mine to my license plate light so it's on whenever my running lights are on, which is always. I have poor vision with my rearview mirror and this gives me great vision of what's behind me. I would like a wider angle of view but I' happy with what I got! The 7" screen is great, too. I'd recommend it if you need it.

Makes backing my big box truck a lot easier and safer. Easy to install plus great picture. I even use it to hook my trailer to the hitch by lowering the camera to lowest position. Compared to other higher priced ones its a great camera at a much better price.

I am using this on my pick-up truck and it works just like I expected. You do have to experiment where to place the transmitter and receiver for clean clear picture quality but I was able to find just the right place to put them. I mounted the camera high on the tailgate because I pull a low trailer and need to see over/around it when backing up.I didn't want to run a video cable and mess with too many modifications to my nearly new truck so this wireless option was a good choice at the right price.
