I ordered strut assembly's fornann04 Sebring Convertible. I received them for a Sebring hardtop. The strut and spring are the same however the strut mounts are different. The mounts for convertable have elongated studs and a rounded base, the hardtop are rectangular with short studs. I received short studs. Of course I did this on a Saturday afternoon with the vehicle already disassembled. I had to go to Advance auto parts and get mounts for the Convertible to make it all work. The picture is correct, the parts were not. Please stop and double check before boxing the parts. Other than that everything was great.I ordered strut assembly's fornann04 Sebring Convertible. Detroit Axle Good, No Bottom Bolt Bad
Almost hate to write a negative comment so lemme qualify it with this was the right part for my Sebring convertible and I received it within 20 hrs. Fantastic! Now for the negative, not really that bad but, it would help tremendously if these struts came with the bottom mounting bolt and nut. The dealer doesnt sell them. I went thru three stores auto/hardware b4 I found something I could use. I guess they assume you can use the old ones- but given that I was replacing rusty corroded old parts that were OEM on a 16 yr old vehicle I had to cut the old off. The new struts came with upper mounting nuts but you dont really need them bcuz on the convertible the old ones are inside the car and in perfect condition. So my recommendation if any one at Detroit Axle is listening- have the correct ...
