Good product and less expensive than VW replacement.
These headlights fit my 2009 Rabbit with no issues. They appear to be well made also. The way the bulbs mount inside the housing is different than the stock VW headlights but it works just fine. The bulbs that come already installed in these housings are total garbage though. Re-use your bulbs from your stock headlights or buy new ones. All in all they’re a pretty good set of headlights for my commuter at a fraction of the price for VW replacements. Installation: You do NOT have to remove the whole front bumper to install these headlight housings. Just pop out the fog lights and housings on either side, or the plastic fillers if you don’t have fog lights. Reach up in there and you can get at the bottom headlight mount screw. It’s a weird angle but if you have long skinny arms like I do ... These headlights fit my 2009 Rabbit with no issues. They appear to be well made also. Great replacement for those fogged headlights.
Excellent replacement for fogged over headlight assemblies. Makes the Rabbit look almost new! Had only one issue--MY FAULT-- when I realized that the front turn signals weren't working. After a little troubleshooting, I discovered that the "turn" bulbs had not been firmly locked into the assembly and probably worked loose during shipping. Simply reaching inside and twisting the bulb holder (in engine compartment) until locked (1/4 turn) and we were good. All else was fine. Came with new bulbs in every socket including headlamp bulbs.
