Ease of fitment
I currently own a C7 Corvette. Before this I own a C6 Corvette. The rear protection apron on the C6 was held in by 3M tape and velcro every time it got warm out it would fall off and fall out of the back of the car and was useless. This new apron design for the C7 Corvette uses two rigid tabs that goes underneath the rear floor mat to hold it in it stays in very secure not only that when you roll it up to put it back in the car it has velcro Loops that go around it to keep it around insecure and in one place not all over the trunk like the C6. If you own a C7 Corvette and want to protect the back of it when you're putting stuff in and out of it I highly recommend getting one of these.I currently own a C7 Corvette. C7 Rear Bumper Protector
Good quality piece but not configured for everyone. It will certainly do the job of protecting your rear bumper and spoiler when you put bags in the hatchback, but the manufacturer expects you to place a couple of hold-down tabs under the floor mat to anchor it. That's fine if nothing else is in the hatch area, since then you can roll the protective mat up. However, if you have an aftermarket tray for small items in the rearmost area, then a rolled-up mat will interfere with the items in the tray. For that reason, I couldn't anchor it and instead folded the mat up so it would fit into one of the compartments in the accessory tray.Good quality piece but not configured for everyone. A nice addition when removing your top you can actually rest and lean on the inside of the car in order to get a better grip of the top and place it in its cradle going to get one for my C6 next
