Our generation 1 Red 3800 Coil Packs were a huge success. Selling over 1000 sets. Since then we have been out of stock due to wanting to redesign them to a nicer look.
We were tired of people trying to copy them and claim they were the same performance, so we wanted to change the look so people know when they have ZZPerformance brand ones. It has been a long time since we have had them back in stock and many people have been waiting. Here they are. Don't miss out!
These function perfect for both performance and factory stock replacements without needing anything special or custom. They bolt in and plug in like stock.
We specialize in the 3800 engine. While many other companies try to come out with something that is higher voltage they also do not understand these engines like we do. If the voltage is raised too much it will cause misfires. It took many years to determine misfire issues with customers bringing in their vehicles with MSD coil packs. The voltage is too high on them that cause misfires where the stock coil packs were proven to be better. So we needed to design a coil pack that provided extra power without causing misfires. This is the end result. We have sold thousands of these coil packs and have had nothing, but great reliable results with them. We also back them with a 2 year repair or replace warranty.
