The 15 row oil cooler kit basically just cools the oil down, the greater the surface area, the more air we have and the more tubes we have exposed to the air and the more heat we can dissipate or get rid of. Mounted in a reasonable spot where it is getting good air you have oil coming from the engine into here and then coming back and cooling it and making sure that it is within a certain operating temperature.
