Used helical-gear (Torsen-style) limited-slip differential. This is a Toyota OEM part, and will fit any C56, C60, C63, C64 or C66 transmission as found in the MR2 Spyder, Celica, Matrix, some Corollas, Lotus Elise and Exige with 1ZZ-FE and 2ZZ-GE engines. It will also fit the S54 transmission found in non-turbo MKII MR2s with 5SFE, 3SFE or BEAMS engines. I\'m told it will also fit several other S and C-series Toytoa gearboxes, including for the Scion xD 2008-2014, but I have not confirmed this personally. Will NOT fit the E153 transmission and its derivatives for the MR2 Turbo, Celica GT-4 or Caldina, sorry. Very likely to not fit the C50, C52 or C59 gearboxes from MKI MR2s or pre-2002 USDM Corollas, either, based on our measurements (right spline count, right ring size, ~1cm too wide bearing-to-bearing). When in doubt, ask.
This differential was harvested from a UK-spec MR2. Mileage is unknown, but most helical diffs last a long, long time under normal conditions. Like, forever.
Professional installation is recommended. We also recommend purchasing new bearings when you install.
Photos are stock photos from prior differentials. Some differentials will ship with the bearings already removed for your convenience, and may or may not have the speedometer ring. If your application requires one, you can swap over from your existing open differential.
