StopTech Stainless Steel Brake Lines meet DOT Compliance Standards, and every line is 100% tested in-house to a pressure of 4,500 PSI. StopTech brake lines consist of a Teflon® inner line, which is then covered with a layer of stainless steel woven braid. The Teflon tube is very resistant to expansion under pressure and will not degrade from exposure to brake fluid. The stainless steel braid provides support for the Teflon and the weave is extremely durable against incidental impact and abrasion. Finally, StopTech brake lines are coated with a clear abrasion resistant cover for maximum protection against chaffing and particle intrusion. All necessary brackets and fasteners are included with each line kit.
Installation of StopTech Brake Lines typically takes about 3 hours. Metric line wrenches are are necessary for installation. A fluid flush and bleed will be necessary after installation. Please observe all safety precautions and follow proper installation guidelines while working on your vehicle. StopTech Stainless Steel Brake Lines are designed as direct replacement parts for stock brake lines. The replacement lines typically follow the same routing as the stock lines. While the design is tolerant of slight modifications to the intended vehicle, any excessive lowering or raising of the vehicle may make the lines unsuitable for use on that particular car, truck, or SUV. Also, the lines include provisions for routing attachments on the stock suspension, such as brackets on the strut. If an aftermarket suspension is on the vehicle, the stock mounting points may not be on those components.
**If alternate routing or modifications are required, it is the sole responsibility of the installer to assure that the lines are not binding or touching any part of the suspension or drive train. Inspect the line routing through the entire range of suspension travel, both up and down and left-to-right. If there is any question as to whether or not the install is correct, do not drive the vehicle until there is absolute assurance the lines are safely routed.**
StopTech Brake Lines are warranted to be free from defects in the materials and workmanship prior to installation. This warranty does not cover labor, misuse, faulty installation, failure of related parts or parts purchased other than from StopTech, LLC.

- If your item is received damaged, within 48 hours, contact our customer service department to file a FedEx/UPS claim for the damaged item(s). Within the next few days, FedEx/UPS will make 3 pick-up attempts to bring the package back to their station for inspection (5-8 business days inspection time required from FedEx/UPS). A replacement is sent out immediately once the package arrives to our warehouse.
- Please retain all boxes and other packaging material as package may be subject to inspection by the carrier. The buyer is responsible for claiming all damages incurred while shipping with the carrier.
