The CV2 Rear Suspension
The Edge Products introduce the CV2rear suspension. Designed for the X2 two seater buggy for maximum durability.
Designed to go behind high horsepowerchain drive bike engines, the CV2 driveline can handle in excess of 250 horsepower.
The Edge Products has tested thisdesign for several years in various types of offroad mini buggy beforeintroducing these “do it yourself” plans.
Design features include:
- Race Proven high angle 930 Porsche CV joints.
- Tough drive axles.
- Tough centre housing that welds into your chassis.
- Double A arm, (Wishbone) suspension design.
- Fully adjustable camber & toe using “quick turn” adjusters.
- Huge 115mm Roller bearings to handle Offroad abuse.
- Progressive camber, (From 0 at ride height up to 12.5 degrees).
- 14 inches of true wheel travel.
- Tough reliable & easy chain adjustment.
- In board 312mm disc brake, (12.3”) with twin piston caliper
- Large 60 tooth 530 pitch sprocket allowing low gearing.
- Electric reverse gear.
- Easy to remove central drive cartridge.

The rear end can be made in two configurations.
Either single inboard disc rotor, oroutboard brakes at the wheels with Wilwood calipers.

Specifications
Rear suspension: Double A arm Independent, 930 CV joints, rod end adjustable camber& toe settings.
Wheel travel: 355mm, (14”) using 12” Fox shocks. Up to 14 degrees of Negative cambergain to increase high speed cornering stability.
Driveline:Removable centre drive cartridge with 60 tooth 530 pitch sprocket.
Reverse:via electric high torque motor & ring gear.
Chain adjustment: turn buckle adjustment with locking bolts.
Track:1646mm, (64”) Hub face to hub face.
Brakes:Either centre 312mm floating rotor with twin piston caliper. Or 312mm Floatingrotors at the wheels with 4 piston Wilwood calipers.
Wheels: Tosuit either 12”, 14” or 15” rims. Requires 15” rims if using outboard brakes.Up to 31” tire diameter.
Stud pattern: 4x4 six stud pattern, 139.7mm PCD, (5.5”). Hubs can be drilled to suitany wheel pattern.
To suit engines: Suitable for Gen 1 or Gen II Suzuki Hayabusa, ZX14R Kawasaki. And otherbig bike high horsepower superbikes including turbocharged.
