The Bose Bypass Harness comes pre-labeled but professionalinstallation is recommended for those wanting to bypass theiramplifiers.

Bose Amp harness (allows you to tie into factory wiring without cut or splicing), which allows you direct access to car speaker lines. This harness can be used in two different ways.

• The first way is the recommended and easiest way; add a six channel aftermarket amplifier (such as a JL audio amp) that supports low impedance speakers. To accomplish this you will have run RCA cables from the new aftermarket head unit to the current Bose amplifier location. You will also need an amp power kit to power the aftermarket amp.
• The second way is to bypass the Bose amplifier by running speaker wires from the aftermarket head unit to Bose Amp harness. The aftermarket head unit must be able to support low impedance speakers or you will have to replace all factory speakers with aftermarket speakers.
