Hi guys, this has been a popular upgrade to improve the looks and cooling for your late model Porsche.
The 997 GT3 grill will fit other model Porsches bumpers, because it was not placed at the top of the bumper like the GT2 grill, it was a placed a little lower, so it has a nice outer lip that hides the edges of the new opening. This allowsyou tocutan openingin thebumper, grind it close to size,and hide a littleof the openings edges if it is not exactly perfect. The center grill not only looks cool, but should increase cooling as it allows air from the center radiator to escape over the hood.
Also this grill is hundreds less $$ than any other late model Porsche grill. You can do it youself, but if you do not have experience with this type of project, let a bodyshop do the work. With the bumper off the car it is also a good time to have them install mesh screen in your bumper openings.
Also now you can grind and cut a hole and glue the grill in place without removing the bumper,we email photos and install tips and what glue you should use for the best results...
