Co-developed by an automotive engineer/SCCA racer and Composite Conceptsa high quality Carbon Fiber manufacturer in Jupiter, Florida this wing is of very high quality Carbon Fiber. It has become the standard for Cayman and Boxster track cars and while different in design it closely matches the factory GT4 wing in that its hardware is all cast aluminum and Stainless Steel and its angle of attack is very adjustable for different downforce profiles. The wing itself is the same width at the leading edge as the GT4 wing at 54.5\"s but is 3/4\" wider at the trailing edge as the winglets are parallel to the motion of the car while the GT4 winglets are angled in at the back. The winglets are Carbon Fiber and on my car I chose to paint them body color but you could leave them all natural CF. The wing has a very light fiberglass core that is wrapped ina final layer of very high quality Carbon Fiber.These parts are so beautiful you may not want to paint them. The wing is mounted much like the factory part with (4) 1/4\" SS bolts through the rear deck. It looks very professional both on the inside and the outside of the deck and is VERY solid and professional both in appearance and structure. The mounting bolts are invisible on the outside. “Last year I put a front splitter on my Cayman to improvethe turn-in characteristics of the car. The effects were dramatic, but left therear of the car feeling very unsettled in high-speed corners. I felt that Jon\'swing would most likely add enough downforce to solve my problem, and meant thatI could avoid going to a much larger wing setup with base. I ran the car for 3days at Mosport with the new wing, and was very, very happy with the results,both from a handling perspective and the resulting lap times, which werenoticeably improved. I would recommend this setup to anyone for a track setup.
This is a very well constructed wing, and an absolute stealat the price that Jon is charging. I looked at some of the other high qualitywings out there, but found that Jon\'s was much better value. And in case anyoneis wondering, I don\'t know Jon and have never met him, so I\'m not shilling on hisbehalf.
