This is a Brand New Parker / Racor 660R-RAC Series High Performance Fuel-Water Separator with the Heating Element option, generally the in-bowl electric heaters for spin-on diesel filters option costs more than we\'re selling the unit for, making this an awesome buy.
This Parker Hannifin filter was initially bought by Oshkosh for use in their Oshkosh HEMTT Heavy High Mobility Trucks for the DoD, but we acquired the surplus when Parker Hannifin\'s contract expired last year. Now we\'re offering these original Parker units--that come with a 200-watt heating element built in below original cost.
These were sold to Oshkosh by Racor\'s OEM Division and although the filter is indeed the exact same 660R10 10 Micron filter\'s you see elsewhere for $128 (except this has the upgraded heating element option) the subtle differences are A) The absence of white paint on the mounting head kit (Part # RK 21411) and B) The 10 Micron filter element because it comes from Racor\'s OEM Division is simply painted white with no marks. (Racor Spin-on replacement filter element model # R60T 10 micron)
All 600 Series Spin-On fuel filter/water separators feature multiple fuel ports (4 inlets and 3 outlets) and a unitized mounting bracket for installation convenience. Inlet and outlet threads are SAE ORB-8 3/4\" . These filter assemblies provide flexibility during mounting and fit any engine application.
Additional 600 Series features include Spin-On high capacity, Aquabloc® II replaceable filter elements which stop water, remove solid contamination, and are available in 2, 10 and 30 micron, although we\'re including the 10 micron.
