Original Porsche 911 901/13 Magnesium 5-speed TransmissionCondition:Great condition, original Porsche 901 transmission. Seems to be an open diff, and the rear cover has some scratchesin it (view close-up photo, not sure). I took apart the the side bolts for the diff, but couldn\'t remove the stub axle since i didn\'t have the tools. I did remove the trans cover for the gear pictures so people could make a more determined buy. I will include a set of gaskets for the new owner for free.

From what I was told (because I have no documentation), this trans was rebuilt in 2001 by Noir Tech in Whittier, CA. It was used for about a year before the owner decided to put a 3.2/915 in his early Porsche. It\'s been sitting on their shelves for over 15 years, and the dust/dirt on it looked about right.
I\'m selling it because my wife doesn\'t appreciate the idea of my 911 being a track hot rod so I bought a 915 trans to make my current 911 more of a restoration.
