Composite Concepts and CCDdeveloped this GT4 style side scoop for the 987 Cayman. Dimensionally and visually it is very close to the factory GT4 style scoop.
It is immaculately molded in FRP and finished in either a beautiful Black gel coat, or sanded ready to paint . It comes ready to paint or can be installed as finished.
- We have done considerable review of the cost to paint these scoops to Porsche Paint code colors. We found a high quality local source who will paint these to your specified paint code for $200.00 per set. We will be glad to provide this service for you at our cost.
These scoops are easy to install and come with all hardware and instructions. They require no expensive disassembly of the rockers or interior trim and can easily be installed in an hour. The scoops were designed by an automotive engineer and ex SCCA racer and they attach using a 3M specialty automotive trim tape withapproximately 24\" square inches of contact surface between the scoop\'s inner lip and the body of the car and with 2 automotive pushnuts at the leading edge. This is a patent pending and very secure attachment and they will stay solidly in place at speeds over 150 MPH. While we have not done any dynamometer testing of these scoops Porsche saw a 4 HP increase at 62 MPH on their cars and it is anticipated that they will provide similar cooling and performance enhancementthat Porsche intended with the factory GT4 scoop.

As stated above if you provide the VIN and paint code we can have them painted at a local source for $200 premium (our cost).
