- Listing is for ONE (1) \"Skid Plate\" Assembly – This all Steel heat shield or skid plate is located behind the conventional skid plate on anEco-boost equipped F-150 (2015-2024). It is the skid plate that protects the motor, the rear of the engine and many drive-train parts.The original piece gets mud, water, dust, road grime and eventually collapses, falls off or deteriorates.Failure to replace this shield WILL result in alternator failure, belt fatigue, and un-needed engine damage.
Replacement shield includes new hardware pieces (bolts and brackets) that must be replaced when servicing originally equipped foam heat shield. *some models require using OEM (factory) bolts and U-nut clips. Easy replacement parts!! 3/8 \"clip\" bolts are much stronger than originals (included).
- Powdercoated 1/8” (11ga.) steel has a strong flawless finish. Easy to touch up with black paint. Skidplate is strong and will not bend! CNC plasma cut to fit.

- These are heavy duty replacement parts. The skid plate weighs 29lbs and is very hard to \"put in a box and ship.\" We do the best we can on protecting the plate during shipment, but shipping is very hard on items. WE DO NOT ACCEPT RETURNS
- Fits 4x4 and 4x2 trucks. Does not fit lifted trucks
- Replaces OEM rear skid plate that is made of felt-cardboard and cheap sound-deadener- see the last picture.
- Must have OEMmountspresent on the truck
- When changing the oil on the 2.7L Ecoboost this plate will have to be removed. (4) bolts.
