This part isonly sold as the replacement housing, it does not include the actual mirror or any electronics on the inside. Exact same color, fit, and finish as the original genuine Mercedes part. PLEASE SEND US THE YEAR OF YOUR VEHICLE AND COLOR YOU NEED WHEN ORDERING!
Compatible with rear view mirrors that had theauto dimming feature(a hole on the rear right side of the housing) and theHomeLink option(three holes on the bottom of the housing, and a smaller hole for a light). These features were available on somelater models of vehicles from 1997 to 2002.
The inside mirror frame should have two metal clips that secure the mirror in place (see photo). If it does not have these clips, it will not fit as Mercedes used a few variations of these rear view mirrors.
Please ensure your vehicle is compatible, as thecomponents will not fit into the housing if they do not have these features. The electronics and mirror will have to be replaced into this new unit, which justsnaps shut once all of the parts are properly fitted inside.
