Good condition turbocharger removed from a MK5 Volkswagen Jetta 2006 with a 1.9L BRM diesel engine. Comes complete as pictured with the actuator and the oil feed line which I do not usually remove when re-installing the turbo on the vehicle. It\'s a single use line.
This turbocharger has 182K miles on it, it worked well when removed from the vehicle. The actuator is included with this turbocharger, it holds vacuum perfectly fine, it didn\'t give any check engine codes while on the vehicle.The VNT mechanism moves freely and without resistance. In other words, the turbo is not jammed with carbon and is good for a direct install.
The nuts on the actuator were loosened to check the VNT mechanism functionality, you will have to tighten them and adjust the actuator. It takes 3 minutes. I left them loose for you to verify and confirm the VNT\'s free movement.
The turbocharger was working perfectly on the vehicle, however it does have very small shaft play in the shaft, like all turbos of comparable age and mileage.
The turbocharger does comes exactly as pictured.
Part number is 038 253 014 Q - BV39 - It\'s an OEM turbo, not a performance upgrade, and can only be installed on BRM engines.
