1. If your car is equipped with vw stock backup camera, you have to replace it together with radio because vw stock backup camera is RGB camera whileas the new radio works only with AV camera. Below is purchase link for rcd280+backup camera for Jetta If your car make is before year 2009 which has red color cluster meter, please leave message when you making order. We will send dedicated transfer adatper with canbus emulator so your 8 button steering wheel can control the new radio. Please be noted that 8 button steering wheel is old type in car make before year 2009. Car makes after year 2010 have 12 button new type steering wheel and no need special adatper with canbus emulator, otherwise will have problem. If you are not sure, send picture of your steering wheel before making order.4.To use CarPlay, please always use Apple original cord instead of 3rd party cord, otherwise you may have connection interruption.

Q. How to verify my installation successful after radio replacement?
- A. Start engine, turn on radio, and then turn off engine and pull out car key, if radio turns off automatically, it means the radio works well. If the radio can\'t turn off while car key off, it means there\'s no communication between your car and the radio. Just unplug transfer adapter and replug it so the transfer adapter will have good connection with harness from your car. If still doesn\'t work, contact with us.
Q. I also need reverse camera to work with the stereo. Any suggestion?
- A. If you have vw factory camera coming with your car, you have to replace it together with radio. Reason is vw factory camera runs on RGB signal whileas this new radio only works with AV NTSC camera. Here is the link for radio+backup camera for Jetta 6/Tiguan.
