Item Description
Maserati 3200GT 3.2 Biturbo V8 32v 1998-2004
Does not fit OEM Bosch TPS
The original ETM Magneti Marelli throttle position sensor which is mounted on the housing on these models wears out in time due to the friction generated and general wear and tear. Normally the TPS is not available separately and a new throttle body is required which will prove to be very expensive but we have the option to replace the old style potentiometer TPS with an electronic contactless unit.
The advantages of fitting this unit are. A significant saving in costs and the new contactless TPS has a much longer life as there are no moving parts. It is also more stable for better performance.
You will be required to use your original Magneti Marelli throttle body and replace only one of the original TPS with this unit, there will be no need to replace both TPS.
Full instructions can be provided by email but we recommend this is fitted by a qualified mechanic and to make sure that the original TPS is at fault before buying as other faults may cause similar symptoms. If you need more information you may be able to find it on the internet.
Check that your vehicle has the Magneti Marelli throttle body before buying. This is easy to check as the Bosch throttle body only has one TPS and the Magneti Marelli has two. The second TPS can be left in its original location
If you are repairing the original throttle body from the same vehicle no reset should be required.

USPS Priority Mail (2-3 day service) is our preferred service, however we will Overnight parcels using USPS Express Mail Guaranteed service. Some international locations require USPS Express Mail as standard.
FedEx Ground is required for larger, heavier domestic shipments.
