Item Description

This ad is for a 10% uprated supercharger pulley for the 4.0 V8 Jaguar model in the title.

These pulleys are CNC machined, produced to the highest dimensional tolerances and surface finish standard of any on the market, and are made from high grade stainless steel which retains its superb finish after heating and fitting.

Supercharger pulley upgrades are not only the most proven, but the best value performance enhancements available for your supercharged Jaguar engine in terms of £/bhp.

Changing the pulley ratio results in the supercharger working at a higher speed and producing more boost. Because this just directly increases airflow through the car’s existing sensors, the ECU is kept aware of the increased flow and no further alterations or remapping are needed to benefit from this modification (though for some models further gain can be achieved through remapping).


Boost & Power Increase:

This modification gives a 10% supercharger driven speed increase, which equates to about a 2.5psi boost pressure increase.

These upgrades have been fitted now to many cars and discussion on forums and bar stools usually refer to about a 35-40bhp/ftlb gain from this size of pulley modification. That is true for the midrange gain, though the Eaton M112 supercharger becomes less efficient at high rpm so peak power gain at high rpm may realistically be about 10-15bhp. Irrespective of the increase tailing off a little towards redline, this modification gives a great increase in instant grunt and acceleration which really does transform the car.

In some cases, belt slippage has been reported when using smaller upper pulleys but this is attributable to some manufacturers taking a cheap route of making pulleys from aluminium alloy, which loses friction when hot. Our high grade stainless steel pulleys do not suffer from this problem.

Installation

These pulleys are not a bolt-on fit. The original pulley has to be removed using a special puller tool, or partially cut and removed with a universal puller, then the new pulley has to be heated prior to fitting. 

Please note - the 10% is the \'harder to fit\' pulley size which also requires material removal from the supercharger nose (please see our other ads if you prefer the 6% pulley option which gives less boost but requires no modification of the snout casting).

Payment

We accept payment by PayPal on transactions.

If you do not have a PayPal account,please contact us directly for payment by bank transfer or credit/debit card.

Dispatch: If you order and pay before 2pm UK time, we will usually be able to ship your goods same day. Weekend orders (2pm Friday onwards) cannot be processed until Monday.

Delivery Estimates: We always post items without delay, but PLEASE be aware that publishes delivery dates which are estimates based on target performance by the mail services. Those dates are NOT guarantees, they are \'best possible\', and actual times can be much slower.

UK Customers: UK 2nd class small packet post can take a week. If you need your item fast, please select 1st class post or Special Delivery.

Overseas Customers: Irrespective of estimated delivery dates, international post can take up to 3 weeks depending on how quickly items are processed when they arrive in your country. We have no control over this, so please try to accept that we are not responsible for slow post.
In particular, mail to Australia, New Zealand, Canada, Italy, Spain and Portugal may take just one week, but more often takes 3 weeks or more.

Overseas Tracking: Standard economy airmail from the UK is not a tracked service. If you require tracking, please select the additional cost services at checkout.

Returns

We accept returns up to one calendar month after you ordered, even if you have just changed your mind or ordered in error, but unless there is something wrong with the item, you need to pay the return postage cost.

If we have sent an incorrect or faulty item, we will of course cover reasonable return post expense.
