Freight charges - Domestic
Depending on your location, order value and order weight you will be offered one or more of the following shipping services to choose from during the checkout process. Please ensure you understand the different features of each service. All services will require a signature on delivery. All product and shipping prices quoted include GST. A tax invoice will be supplied.
Shipping Services - Domestic
- Standard -eParcel service with signature required and delivery within 1-6 business days.
- Express- Reliable express service with online tracking and delivery in 1-3 business days (Guaranteed overnight delivery within the express post network)
Service times vary by destination. If in doubt, or your item is required urgently, please contact us.
If no one is available to sign for your package when a delivery attempt is made a card will be left for you and the items will be returned to your local post office for collection. If this is a problem we suggest you enter an alternative delivery address such as a work address during the checkout process where there will be someone available to sign for the package.
Freight charges - Export
Goods can be sent by various methods including Registered Airmail, Pack and Track Airmail and ExpressCourier International(EMS) Prices will vary depending on the parcel weight, destination, service required and insured value. All services will require a signature on delivery. All product and shipping prices quoted do not include tax. Some countries and jurisdictions require to collect import tax from the buyer when they pay for their order. In this case the charges will be displayed during the checkout process. Consignments where does not collect taxes may require buyers to pay additional import fees (e.g. VAT and duties) as part of clearing their parcel through customs, or when they receive their order.
Shipping Services - Export
Depending on your location, order value and order weight you will be offered one or more of the following shipping services to choose from during the checkout process. Please ensure you understand the different features of each service.
- Registered Airmail - Standard postal service with online trackingand delivery in 5-10 working days to most locations
- Pack and Track Airmail - Standard postal service with online tracking and delivery in 5-10 working days to most locations. (Only available to select locations)
- ExpressCourier International(EMS) - Premium Express delivery with online tracking and delivery in 2-4 working days to most locations.
Cancellations
We will only accept a request to cancel your order if it has not yet been shipped and you have requested it via Messages.
Once your order has been shipped, cancellationwill not be accepted. You may however be eligible to return the item/s to us for a refund under our Returns Policy providing you have not opened or used the item/s.
Shipping Address
Please ensure you provide the correct deliveryaddress in checkout as it cannot be changed after the payment has been received. Where you advise us that you have provided an incorrect address, we reserve the right to cancel the order and refund you providing the order has not already been dispatched.
Returns & Replacements
Unwanted items may be returned within 30days of receipt subject to the following conditions:
- You must obtain verbal permission from JapBikeSpares prior to returning any goods. You will be issued with a Goods Returns Number which must be quoted on all correspondence and must be included with the goods.
- Goods must be returned within 30days of their receiptwith alloriginal packaging and enclosures intact and unbroken. Failure to comply with this clause will result in a fee of 20% of the invoiced value of the goods being retained to cover the costs of replacing the damaged packaging
- Goods must be returned to us at the buyers cost. You must take reasonable care to ensure that the goods are not damaged whilst in return transit to us. You are responsible for any loss or damage caused as such, we therefore strongly recommend that you use an insured carrier service to return the goods to us
- Once the goods are received and examined we will process a refund within 3 businessdays for the cost of the goods, less the original shipping charge shown on your invoice and less any deduction as explained above.
You do not have the right to return your goods under any of the following conditions:
- Wewill not accept items for return that have been installed, used or fitted in any way, under any circumstances.
Any items returned that do not comply with the conditions stated above, or where our agreement to refund is not obtained prior to returning them will not be refunded.
Exchange of parts
Goods which are correctly supplied by us, but which you wish to return for exchange as a result of having ordered them incorrectly, will require payment of an appropriatedelivery charge so we can send you the replacement goods.
Incorrectly supplied parts
In the rare event of having receivedan incorrect item, please let us know immediately and we will exchange or refund the price of the goods,and cover any freight costs to or from our premises.
Faulty parts
In the unlikely event of a part being faulty, please contact us and we will endeavour to ensure the quickest solution to your issue.
Order shortages and carrier damages
Please advise us of missing items or carrier damage items you received within 3 days of receipt of your goods. We regret that beyond this time we may be unable to process your claim. Should any goods be damaged in transit you must allow us and/or our carriers reasonable access to the goods and packaging so that your claim can be substantiated. Failure to allow such access will invalidate any rights that you may have to a refund or replacement items
- If the order is for goods which by their nature cannot be returned or are liable to deteriorate or expire rapidly
- If the goods have been installed, used or fitted in any way whatsoever
Will this fit my Bike?
We have used the parts compatibility list for some products as a guide for buyers to use, but the data system is not accurate and incomplete sometimes as it is still under development. Please make sure you have read through the whole listing and pay particular attention to the \'Specifications\' and \'Compatible Bikes\' sections. If there are any uncertainties, please contact our sales team via messaging to make an enquiry before purchasing. It\'s better you are confident you are ordering the right part than go through the hassle of arranging returns and replacements.
How much does delivery cost and how long will it take?
You can check the delivery cost in the listing under the “Shipping and payments” section by selecting your country and entering your post/zip code. If it is not specified, please provide us your shipping address and post/zip code via messaging here.
What payment methods do you accept?

Please note that controls the payment methods available in checkout and sometimes not all payment methods are available on all items or to all buyers. When will my order be dispatched?
We aim to process and dispatch all orders within 1 business day after the payment is received, same day if received by 1pm AEST. The tracking number will be updated on immediately after dispatch. Please note orders will not be dispatched during weekends or public holidays.
Can I amend my order?
Once the payment is cleared, we generally cannot amend any item(s), quantities, or add or remove items. We are also unable to change the delivery address. Therefore, please double check all the order information before making payment. If you do however make a mistake or need to make changes to your order please contact us via massaging and we will be happy to assist you.
What do I do if I have not received my order within the estimated delivery time?
Please contact us via messaging and we will provide you with an update as soon as possible. Please note that delays delivery delays can be caused by many factors including customs clearance issues, bad weather, large volumes of parcels in the system during holiday periods etc. Whilst these issues are ultimately out of our control we will always be happy to assist where possible.
What do I do if my product is faulty or damaged in transit?
Please contact us via messaging and provide as much detail, including photos if possible to show the issue/s. We will then get back to you with a solution as soon as possible.
