The shift knob is rough . Its missing the original leather cover and has been wrapped in a easily removable wrap . The metal is scraped and rough because some idiot at Saleen decided to put Loctite red on the threads and it had to be removed by extreme force . If anyone knows that is Permanent Loctite. It will need some polishing and work . A standard Dremal will do the job with a little time. The threads are fine and so is the top area .
