Tire mounting should only be done only by trained service technicians using proper tools and procedures. Do not attempt to mount tires yourself. Please have your tires mounted by a trained tire installer. If you need to file a tire damage claim, you may be asked to provide a receipt as proof that your tires were professionally installed.
- We ship all orders via Fedex, GSO (West Coast orders) and Custom Company for large or bulky shipments. Handling time for shipment on all orders will be between 1-3 business days depending on availability in our warehouse. Most items should arrive before or on the date shown in the listing and the confirmation email you get from . The estimated delivery dates are based on our handling time and the estimated shipping time between Long Beach, California and your address. Those estimates are subject to change due to unforeseen weather or natural disaster events.
- Tracking numbers are uploaded to as shipping labels are created. Once uploaded you will receive an email from with all tracking information. Depending on the size, tires may be strapped together and wheels may be double boxed so that two wheel boxes will be in one shipping box.
- Due to and PayPal buyer and seller protection agreements all orders over $750 in total value will be shipped with signature required at the time of delivery.
- We can only ship to the address provided by when we receive your order. If you have a different address you want used be sure to make this change at time of check-out. Again, we can not change the shipping address once we receive the order.
- PayPal buyer protection policies do not allow us to offer store pickup. If you want to pickup at our store in Long Beach you should call our store and order directly from them. Their number is 562-988-0211
Shipping Damages, Items Missing
If your shipment has arrived damaged or is missing:
- Please contact us within 24 hours of delivery! All shipping companies require notification within 48 hours of receipt to report damage or loss.
- Delivery carriers will not accept any claims for damage or loss after 48 hours.
- It is extremely important to save all packaging material for inspection by the shipping carrier. The carrier will inspect and pick up the damaged merchandise to return to Performance Plus Tire.
Again, if your merchandise arrives damaged, please contact us within 24-hours of delivery to report the damage so that we can work with the shipping carrier and begin working on a reshipment.
- If we have made an error in what was shipped to you, we will provide pre-paid shipping labels. Once the product has been returned to Fedex we will either re-ship or refund your product.
- We will gladly accept returns! We must be notified of any return requests within 30 days of receipt of your shipment. We can not accept any returns after 30 days.
- Your return request should be done in . Go to "My " and select "Return this item" to begin the return process. We will review your request and respond within 24 hours, Monday - Friday.
- All returns, cancellations or refused shipments are subject to a 20% restocking fee.
- All Shipping charges for the returned shipment are the responsibility of the buyer. We suggest shipping large and bulky items via Fedex or UPS. You should insure all shipments for damage or loss.
- Performance Plus Tire & Auto will NOT allow the return of any product that has been mounted, installed, used and/or altered in any way. If products are sent back that are not in new condition we will not issue a refund. The buyer has a right to have the refused product returned to them at their cost for shipping.
- All products returned must be in their original packaging and packed to avoid further damage. We suggest double boxing wheels to add additional protection. If the items returned are damaged no credit will be issued. We strongly suggest insuring the shipment for loss and/or damage.

Performance Plus Tire & Automotive makes every effort to assure that its products meet high quality and durability standards, and warrants to the original purchaser that the product is free from defects in materials and workmanship for the period of 30 days beginning on the date of purchase.
This warranty does not apply to damage due directly or indirectly to the following disqualifying conditions:
- Puncture to a tire
- Injuries to the sidewall or tread of a tire that do not penetrate the carcass
- Running a tire under-inflated or flat
- Tire Shoulder wear that's commonly caused by under-inflation, hard cornering or alignment issues.
- Uneven wear due to mechanical issues, which can include: feathered tread rim edges, cupping, diagonal wear, misalignment, worn or loose bearings
- Failed or improper tire repair
- Ozone cracking to the tire(s)
- Bead damage or improper mounting of a tire or wheel
The above list includes a few of the general specific items that could cause issues. Some tire manufacturers have a road hazard warranty on some of their tires, including Kumho, Nexen and Continental. For additional information on warranties, please refer to the website for the specific tire or wheel brand.
Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitation of exclusion may not apply to you. THIS WARRANTY IS EXPRESSLY IN LIEU OF ALL OTHER WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING THE WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS.
To take advantage of this warranty, the product or part can be either returned to an authorized dealer for the product brand or returned to our store. The product(s) must be returned to us with transportation charges prepaid. Proof of purchase (e.g. in-store receipt or packing slip/invoice), date and an explanation of the complaint must accompany the merchandise.
If our inspection verifies the defect, we will replace the product at our election or we may elect to refund the purchase price if we cannot readily and quickly provide you with a replacement. We will return repaired products at our expense, however if we determine there is no defect, or that the defect resulted from causes not within the scope of our warranty, then you must bear the cost of returning the product.
This warranty gives you specific legal rights and you may also have other rights which vary from state to state.
