This is a set of eight stainless steel studs (with an allen drive for easy installation)andstainless steel serrated face flange nuts. They will replace the factory hardware that rust and break on Ford 4.6liter and 5.4liter exhaust manifolds.
NOTE: For clarification, these are meant to secure the exhaust manifold to the cylinder head,you will need one kit per manifold.
These engines are notorious for needing the exhaust manifolds and hardware replaced. Why use steel hardware that is just going to rust again? We used thishardware to replace the passenger side manifold on our own plow truck, and when we had to replace thedriver sidemanifold a few months later, we realized we shouldoffer them as a kit. Since then we have seen them used onapplications ranging from our F250 to a 9 second, turbocharged Mustang Cobra. It is always a good idea to use anti-seize on an application like this, it can be found in any good auto parts store.
