Hand fabricated, using with carbon fiber &epoxy resin, this LM style bonnetweighs the same as the factory front bonnet. Lightweight & strong- withrace-car styling that Ferrari should have originally designed for ALL theoriginal F40's. This LM style bonnet sets yourcar apart from the rest. Many guys have done the "LM" conversion to theiroriginalcars. You've seen them... and they look great.
With the metal support bar (that's bonded to the inside, behind the frontlip area) mounting will be in the same place as your factoryfront bonnet.That bar (with its brackets) allowsthe bonnet to tilt forward. Your shop will fabricate the 2 small brackets (left & right side)thenweld themtothe front support bar. Doing this, allows your shop to fit this frontbonnet perfectlytoyour car. Being that each F40 is slightlydifferentfromthe next, thosebracketsshouldbefit/welded by your shop(to the support bar) to assure that the LM bonnet fits your car perfectly. Also, as with any customization, expect to have it custom fit to your car.
