This is the factory authorized “riproduzione anastatica “ or White Cover , Owners Manual for the famed Ferrari 288 GTO. Is it the same as the original Red Cover version ? Sort of. The content is the same, the dimensions are the same, the publisher is the same and that’s where the similarities end. These are not the same quality, nor the same quantity as the original and are thus priced accordingly, the do not have a print catalog number on them as do most Ferrari printed pieces. The best use of these white cover owners manuals is as a reference guide and/or as a perfect spare for the red cover version. Throw this one into the glove box of the 288 GTO and don’t worry about it, use it as needed. Keep the much more rare Red Cover manual locked up and use the spare as it was intended.
