These adapters are expanded and reduced on a precise sizing machine with \"T\" expansion / reduction tooling. This enables to create a parallel expansion or reduction along the pipe. Thus making sure a perfect fit for your pipes every time.
We have seen other sellers (including big sellers) adapters to be formed on a ram machine. The tool hits the tube and forms in one go. Admittedly they do look similar, but also can have a severe taper.
These adapters will then not fit properly, or the fit will be very loose between your pipe that needs welding.
