This engine is a rebuilt Long Block only.
This is not a fully dressed engine.
Engines are completely disassembled, cleaned, inspected, and brought to factory specs. Including at least: cylinder finished minimum of .25 oversized, new piston, new rings, new gasket kit with new seals including valve guide seals, valves re-ground or replaced when applicable and valve seats cut back to factory specs.
Buyer must be able to provide us with a rebuild-able core for exchange.
Core: The buyer agrees to send their engine one of two ways
1: Ship your core to us at buyers expense for inspection and exchange prior to us shipping rebuilt engine. (most people can not remove the clutch; we will remove it for you and send it back with the rebuilt engine if need be)
2: Local pickup avaliable
Upon receipt of core we will disassemble and inspect the core engine. After it is deemed rebuild-able we will ship the rebuilt engine.
If the core engine had suffered catastrophic failure there could be additional charges.
We will not ship the Item without receiving a rebuildable core
We do not sell engines without cores
We will notify you of Damaged or non-rebuild-able parts and any costs associated with their replacement. We will provide photos and explanations of any unusable parts. If you know you have damage, let us know ahead of time and we will provide you an initial estimate.
Examples of a non-rebuildable core would be any of the following: A broken crank, hole in block, damaged cylinder head, missing parts, etc. We are reasonable and always attempt to accommodate you on any situation.
If the Crank is damaged you can estimate between $150 if it can be machined and $350 to replace the crank.
Cylinder heads and Blocks are case by case.
Does not come with new carburetor or coil. However we do keep these in stock and can include them for an additional fee.
