New: A brand-new, unused, unopened, item in its original packaging (where packaging is applicable). Packaging should be the same as what is found in our retail store. To be installed professionally by a bodyshop with a valid automotive repair business license. Fiberglass parts always require prep work before they can be primed and painted. This product is made with fiberglass material, therefore it will exhibit chips, breaks, cracks, waves, scratches and holes which require modification. It is necessary to dry fit and drill mounting holes and preform body work before paint. Cutting and adding of fiberglass may be required for proper fitment. Ships direct from the manufacturer or a distributor. Primer finish. Hand layup is the manufacturing process used for the majority of our fiberglass parts. Hoods require hood pins. Since these parts are made of fiberglass, they are not \"\"direct bolt-on\"\" and typically require significant preparation. This often includes trimming, cutting, sanding, fitting, or adding additional fiberglass. Installation may require custom bodywork, and issues like warping or fitment challenges can arise if not done carefully.
Duraflex fender flares are crafted to extend the wheel arch, providing a more aggressive stance that often complements the style of a complete body kit. Some fender flares may need to be attached using rivet nuts with a rubber gasket between the flare and the original fender, though these components are not included. For more aggressive flares, cutting and rolling of the original fender may be necessary to create additional wheel clearance and achieve a lower stance. Given the properties of fiberglass, adjustments during installation are common, and it’s important to ensure proper alignment and fitment to avoid gaps or uneven surfaces.
Duraflex fenders offer a sleek, customized aesthetic upgrade. These lightweight fiberglass replacements may require reinforcement around the A-pillar and the fender mounting flange to ensure durability and a secure fit. Trimming and reshaping may be needed to align with the vehicle’s mounting points. For optimal results, Duraflex recommends professional installation by a custom shop experienced in handling fiberglass components. Traditional auto repair shops may not have the necessary expertise for trimming, cutting, or modifying fiberglass parts.

Due to Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations, most Duraflex fenders and fender flares are not street-legal. Duraflex does not endorse or recommend using these products on public roads or highways.
