The 2 in 1 full and side-mounted exhaust system has a Magnun Series’ TRI-CONE titanium muffler with a thermo-injected magnesium end-cap.
The kit includes support brackets to replace the plate and taillights in a higher position.
The weigh gain is about 7kg thanks to our QD system. The elimination of the undertail mufflers allows a lower barycentre.
Ex-Box series’ stainless steel exhaust system based on the resonance chamber concept. A lower and closer to the road barycentre allows a stable position during the change of direction. Being located under the front wheel axle, it decreases the tail lift generated by the braking inertia. The QD-Exhaust industrial activity has today 2700sqm of operative unit, which is made up of administrative and design offices, and a warehouse able to satisfy the market demands.
The production standards is guaranteed by an integrated quality-control process.
The company is certifyed to the main european transport departments.
The manufacturing is made using advanced machineries, each component is laser cut, stainless steel AISI 304 or titanium made. All the parts are TIG welded in a controlled atmosphere.
QD R&D dept. Manages all the prototyping with a fluid-dynamic planning with an integrated method; all exhaust systems are measured and calculated by using a particular software according to the market demand, to give the best phonometric and performance result. Exhaust was born, under the name Quat-D, as a hand-crafted activity, specialized in manufacturing of four strokes motorcycles exhaust systems. After many years spent on racing fields, during which a high level of experience have been acquired, the activity has been developped considerably.
In 2001 came up the necessity to give to the company a more industrial profile, without forgetting the quality and the research of the “detail”. That’s how Quat- D s.r.l. was born.
