***NOTE*** fees are absolutely INSANE. So, unless you enjoy paying 15% more for this product, and paying Sales Tax [if outside NY]... I would suggest contacting us directly via Google Search to complete your purchases. Our prices on here are inflated to account for these ridiculous charges now being levied. Make no mistake, *WE* brought these gaskets to market, and have sold nearly ONE THOUSAND since we had them produced. Compare that to your average reseller who is trying to sell you our product, which they know nothing about.
This listing is for (2) Multi-Layer-Steel Head Gaskets ONLY in a standard bore and thickness replacement size, for the Gen-1 1992-1996 Dodge Viper RT/10. If you need an alternate bore or thickness, please make sure you tell us. There are no extra costs for getting a custom gasket made, but it will take ~4 days to process the order rather than 1 day, as we only stock standard sizes. Please see our other listings for a head gasket package that includes all of the standard head gasket job related gaskets. We have AFM gaskets available for ALL paper sealing locations on Gen-1 and Gen-2 engines, as well as Oil Pan, Valve Cover, and All Seals.Every single Viper produced in the first generation was built with faulty head gaskets, and any car that had Mopar Composite Gaskets used in a repair is still an affected unit. Mopar knew about this problem, and originally offered an MLS solution of their own, to the tune of over $1300 for a pair of head gaskets. We heard the customer complaints on price, and did something about it. *WE* brought these gaskets to the Viper market back in 2008 at a reasonable price, and have sold hundreds of sets since, without one single complaint. Please don\'t make the mistake of shelling out over 3x the cost for a set of out-of-production Mopar gaskets sitting in someones old-stock, or even worse, being suckered into reinstalling Composite Gaskets from the original batch- of which there still are some lingering around! Note: TORQUE SPECIFICATION for the MLS Head Gaskets differs from the OE gaskets they are replacing. Correct specification and order is;
1. 40 Ft. Lbs.
2. 80 Ft. Lbs.
3. 120 Ft. Lbs.
4. 120 Ft. Lbs.Do NOT ignore the second application at 120 pounds! The correct bolt order is a criss-cross center 4 bolts, and then an \"outward spiral\" pattern moving out from center.
