Most stock flywheels are heavy cast iron and are designed for optimum drivability by storing some of the engine’s power in the form of inertia. Light flywheels provide significantly improved engine response and acceleration by compromising drivability. Competition\'s lightweight flywheels are designed for improving engine response, strength and affordability.This flywheel is recommended for naturallyaspiratedand/or street driven applications. This flywheel will work with all performance and stock clutch assemblies.
Qualities of the CCI Lightweight Steel Flywheel:
- Preserves low end torque and drive ability
- One piece ring gear for high durability
- Stamped with 4140 plate with 2000 ton pressure at 1260 degrees
- CNC machined and balanced to O.E. specifications
- Reduced Mass = Increased Acceleration
- Meets and exceeds SFI 1.5This item does not fit 1988-1989 models that use a 190mm or 200mm clutch, it is only compatible with the 1990 and newer front-wheel-drive models that use a 210mm/212mm clutchPictures are for display purposes and may not be application specific
