Wemake every effort to provide you withgood detailed drawings with dimension specifications for the rivets. We dothat so that you can make an informed choice whether or not to purchase from us.
We can tell you that often, if the rivet post hole size is slightly larger than the post on our rivets, many of the wheel repair shops, re-chrome and re-paint shops, who do use our rivets use a clear silicone adhesive to just glue the rivets into the existing hole.
The most common adhesive used is a product made by the “Liquid Nails” adhesive company. The product is called “Small Project, clear Silicone Adhesive” and is available at either Lowes or Home Depot for about $5.00 for a tube that will easily due a full set of wheels.
