Brian Tooley Racing's Truck Cam Kits are an excellent selection for GM trucks and SUVs equipped with 4.8L, 5.3L, 6.0L, or 6.2L engines. These camshafts are designed to increase power without sacrificing low-end torque and are great choice for heavier vehicles such as Silverado, Sierra, Yukon, Tahoe, Suburban, Escalade, etc.
Brian Tooley Racing's truck cams were designed with low lift so BTR's standard beehive springs and OE pushrods can be used, making these the most affordable truck cams available.
This kit includes some of the most common components needed when installing an aftermarket cam kit in your Gen III or Gen IV LS combination.

Note: These kits are designed for Gen III/Gen IV engine applications only. 2014+ GM Trucks (2015+ SUVs) use the Gen V style engines which are not compatible with these components.
Note: Replacement of the head gaskets will require head bolt replacement (not included), however, GM used several different head bolt designs. If you would like to add a head bolt kit, or need assistanceidentifying which kit you need, please do not hesitate to reach out to us directly.Note: These head gaskets cannot be used with early style (98-01) LS1 heads which feature the "notch" on the deck. Some 99-00 truck cylinder heads had this notch as well (some, but not all 862 castings). If that notch is present on the deck of the cylinder head, these head gaskets cannot be used.
