Untitled DocumentBTR 3 Bolt Cam/Camshaft Conversion Kit-GM conversion kit is designed to allow installation of a 3-bolt style camshaft into a 2006 and newer LS2/LS3 engine that currently utilizes a single bolt camshaft. Some 2006+ Gen IV LS2/LS3 engines originally used a single bolt camshaft which has been known to potentially shear the camshaft dowel pin which allows the camshaft to come out of time with the engine crankshaft, resulting in catastrophic damage. This upgrade kit allows use of the superior 3-bolt camshaft design.
Kit Includes:
- (1) Chevrolet Performance 3 Bolt 4 Pole Cam Gear (P/N 12586481)
- (1) Chevrolet Performance LS2/LS3/LS7 Timing Chain Dampener (P/N 12588670)
- (1) 3 LS Cam Bolts
NOTE:This kit requires reuse of your original crankshaft sprocket.
