BMW Bluetooth Auxiliary cable for the BMW e60 5 series and 6 series. Most 3,7 series also use the same aux cable so will work for it as well. This adapter will allow for Bluetooth audio streaming (audio only no hands free). Now that iPhone 7 has no audio jack, convert your current aux to Bluetooth streaming and no need to worry about a aux jack adapter. Connects same way standard aux cable connects to harness, if you currently have aux you simply disconnect and connect these instead. for power you will need to tap into two wires for 12v + and Ground -, I include the tap connectors. Your car will need to be coded in order for this cable to work (if you currently have aux option on idrive menu and just replacing to get Bluetooth audio, no coding will be needed). Coding can be done at dealer, independent shop or many local BMW enthusiast can code the AUX feature in. Coding can also be done yourself with a coding cable and included software that can be found here on (I have a step by step video on how to code AUX to your idrive if you plan to do it yourself).
