Air Suspension Problems?
For Sale is a repair kit to renew your Wabco air suspension compression.
this will fit all Audi A8, D3, 4E models between 2002-2010, & Audi Q7 2005-2013
Audi A8: OEM Compressor part numbers: 4E0 616 005 -4E0 616 007
Audi Q7 2005...OEM Compressor part numbers:
4L0 698 007 A, ..B, ..C
7L0 698 853 A
7L8 616 006 A, ..C

The Main Problem with the suspension air compressor is poor performance & noise. Poor performance can be noticed with "air suspension inactive error" & the car raising very slowly or even failing to reach its requested level. This can be due to either the age of the compressor or if it has been overworked due to leaks in the air system. This poor performance is due to wear on the piston ring.

Replacing the Piston Ring restores the compressors performance back to as good as new, and beats the costs replacing the whole compressor for new. The Manual provided is based on the Audi Allroad but the steps to change the piston ring are the same.

NOTES:
This repair kit will renew the compression, the compressor must be operational, typical symptoms are the car being slow to raise and even not reaching the requested level which puts the error light on, but ignition off and on again and it will try again.
If you scan the Level Control module using a Diagnostic tool such as VCDS you will have the following codes:
01400 - Suspension Level Control: Control Limit Not Reached
01772 - Signal from Level Control Pressure Sensor (G291): Implausible Signal
and
01577 - Turn-Off due to Over-Temp: Upper Limit Exceeded
the above codes all point to a weak compressor which this kit will fix.
If the car is sinking, not sitting level or the suspension error light is constantly on all the time, there is a leak or fault in the system and this will need to be fixed by other means before fitting this kit.
