This item is designed as an add-on upgrade for your existing alarm or keyless entry. It can be activated by pressing either a single button or a combination of buttons on your remote control. If your remote does not have an auxilliary output, it can be activated by pressing Lock>Lock in sequence. Because it is meant for use as an \"add-on\", it does not come with remote controls or an antenna. The operating range of the system will be whatever the current operating range is for your existing keyless entry or alarm. Adding the remote start module will neither increase or decrease the range.
Bypass Module:
The PLJX Bypass will temporarily override your vehicle\'s antitheft key only when the remote start is activated - leaving the antitheft system 100% functional. Unlike cheap generic bypasses, ours does not require you to leave a spare key in the car.
Frequently Asked Questions:** DIY BASIC INSTALLATION KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENT **
The installation of this product will require wiring connections. We provide concise directions with wire colors & locations. It is important to note at a minimum, a person with a basic to intermediate knowledge of wiring car electronics should be able to install this product successfully.

What other parts will I need?
None. The kit comes with all the components you will need. The only things you\'ll need to provide basic supplies like electrical tape.
Does installing a remote start void my warranty?
No. If you properly install any aftermarket product in your car, the dealer cannot void your warranty simply because that product is there. If you were to do the installation incorrectly and cause damage, that would not be covered under your warranty.
I was told that adding a non-factory remote start would void my vehicle warranty. Is this true?
No – it is not true, and that’s Federal law. From the Federal Trade Commission website, “Simply using an aftermarket or recycled part does not void your warranty. The Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act makes it illegal for companies to void your warranty or deny coverage under the warranty simply because you used an aftermarket or recycled part”. NOTE:
Quickly pressing lock 3 times in a row on your OEM remote will activate remote start. This does not include aftermarket remotes.
My remote does not have a ‘start’ button. How will I activate the remote start?
Pressing the ‘lock’ button on your remote three times in succession will activate the remote start. To turn off simply press the \'lock\' three times in succession.

As if putting \"Chrysler\" in the title of the ad makes it remote start for Chrysler. Did they include the bypass that is required for the installation? No. Did they include any relays, door lock adapters or any other parts that are required for the installation? No, not those either.
When we sell a \"Complete Remote Start Kit\" for any vehicle, you can be assured it\'s complete and it\'s for that vehicle. If the car needs a bypass, it\'s included with the kit. Needs a relay or door lock adapter? It will be included too.

- For all items with free shipping, we may use any of the following carriers at our option: FedEx, FedEx Smartpost, USPS Parcel Post, USPS Priority Mail, USPS First Class Mail. For international shipments, we use USPS or FedEx International. We do NOT use FedEx Ground for shipments to Canada.

Warranty Information Warranty Policy
Remote Starters & Alarms - The remote starters & alarms we offer all carry a limited lifetime warranty through the manufacturer. Physical damage or damage due to improper installation will void the manufacturer\'s warranty. Within the first year you can contact us for warranty issues. The product must be returned to us at the customer\'s expense for us to perform warranty service. After the first year, warranty issues must be handled directly through the manufacturer. The manufacturer will require a receipt from the original purchase. Product specific warranty information will be included with the product packaging.Linear Actuators - Linear actuator carry a \"No DOA\" warranty. Each actuator is QC tested before it leaves our facility. If you receive a defective actuator, you must contact us within 30 days of receipt. Actuators that are damaged due to improper installation, overloading or running over the duty cycle will not be covered under warranty.All Other Items -All other items carry a 1 year limited warranty either through MyPushcart or the product\'s manufacturer. The product is warranted to the end user, when properly installed and under normal conditions of use, to be free from defects in workmanship and materials for a period of one year from the provided date of purchase, to the original purchaser of the product. This warranty does not cover abuse, operation in a manner inconsistent with the product\'s design, or damage resulting from exposure to the elements. If the defect is considered \"under warranty\", MyPushcart will, at its option, repair or replace the product free of charge to the original purchaser.
