HOW ITWORKS
Cars thathave either air or hydraulic suspension are fitted with ride height sensorswhich are connect to the suspension?s wishbones by linkages. The ride heightsensors measure the level the road is that the car is traveling on to aid thecars auto levelling system. The ride height sensors and linkages, in most casesare located behind each wheel hub assembly.
The fullyadjustable linkages included in our lowering kits replace the factory fitted,fixed length linkages and by either lengthening or shortening the adjustablelinkages the ride height sensors will send altered information to the car\'ssuspension computer which will then lower the car.
The solutionwe offer is safe and reliable and has been fitted to over 30000 cars worldwideas such our lowering kits have been tested over millions of miles / kilometres.
Loweringyour car with one of our lowering kits is extremely simple, no special tools ormechanical experience are required and with the guidance of our comprehensivefitting instructions the install will take just 1-2 hours and as our loweringkits are fully adjustable you can lower your car to your desired height.
Q. DOES THE LOWERING KIT REQUIREMAINTENANCE?
A. As part of the installation we recommendthat a small amount of grease be added to the ball joint of each linkage. Asthe lowering linkages are located under the wheel arches they will be subjectedto water, dirt, and road salt during the winter months, so it is prudent toclean and re-grease the linkages sporadically to increase the life of thelowering kit.
