This is the correct blue color. I have worked on this for months, to get the correct color blue for the AMC engines. This is the most correct blue I have seen on the market. It will take 2 cans to do a complete engine and all the small brackets and such. This is acrylic enamel. The spray can has a really nice spray tip and the paint sprays out really nice. It also dries at a nice rate. sometimes paint dries to quick and you get a lot of dry spray, not with this. This paint is also high temp and holds up very well to 300 degrees. This paint is good to 300 degrees which is high temp. No paint will withstand the heat of an exhaust header or manifold for very long. 300 degrees is plenty for the engine and all the parts that get hot. The photo is accurate to the color the best the camera will take it. Please don't ask questions on the shade of blue or the metallic or the shine since it is all so subjective it is all in the pictures.
